Welcome to the NZ Delegation to THIMUN 09 travel blog!

Welcome THIMUN delegates, parents and friends to our travel blog! This blog is a means by which we can keep you updated as our travel plans progress throughout this year and during out trip in January/February 09.

So far, we have selected 15 wonderful delegates from all over New Zealand to travel to The Hague to take part in The International Model United Nations. The NZ National Model United Nations was a huge success, and the delegates all performed particularly well.

For the next few months, our role as THIMUN staff is to plan and organise an interesting and varied itinerary for our 10 day study tour beforehand.

We are also in the process of planning meetings with delegates and their parents so as to give parents an opportunity to meet us and some members of the United Nations Youth Association of NZ (UNYANZ).
